Somewhere between
nature and imagination.

02 / Behind the paintings

A painter’s eye.
An architect’s
sense of space.

Mara Urcan’s practice moves between the structure of architecture and the fluidity of nature. In her paintings, the familiar slips into the surreal: organic forms, imagined landscapes and light that feels almost tangible.

Informed by Dalí’s dreamscapes, Ghenie’s emotional depth and Brâncuși’s simplicity, her work explores transformation and perception — an invitation to pause, and look again.
